Eliseev Abstract Systems that contain instrumented wheelsets and algorithms of measurements evaluations are used to obtain contact forces between wheels and railway while a car is moving. Existing schemes do not allow us to obtain all contact characteristics, thus a new method of evaluations was developed. It allows evaluation of all contact forces components and contact points coordinates. Numerical experiments were conducted to prove the quality of the method.
